In my heart I always knew you would beat this – and that you would do it, as always, with incredible grace, determination and honesty. So much to celebrate and look forward to dear friend. Glad you were able to find some time to bring us all up to date. But do hope you’re out celebrating with loved ones and doing all the things you cherish.

P.S. You know those walks around the hospital corridors were “in-training” for our later years together – strolling the beach or the sidewalks somewhere kvetching (sp?) with each other – when we’re not so able to plan bigger adventures.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful…… but I always knew you’d come out of this 100% okay. I always knew that. And I’m so happy to be proven right!

I also read your colonoscopy entry — and I had to laugh…. you’re right, the time between drinking that horrid, horrid stuff is the quickest time passage on the planet, I swear. I did the dreaded C last year in your honor, my friend…..and refused to throw up drinking that stuff lest I have to do it again. More people would be willing to go through the test if that horrid, horrid prep could be eliminated. Yes, you are a brave lady, indeed….

I’m just thrilled to know you beat this thing, and it’s so good to know that the combination of the Big Guns and a wholistic approach to wellness made you healthy again. I’m sending a big congratulatory hug your way. Wow, lovely lady, you seriously rock!

Picture Perfect inside and out. That’s my girl!!!

Dr. today suggested a colonoscopy, and I was thinking, yes, I really should. But reading your description of drinking the vile stuff, I feel the bile already rising, and I’m beginning to tremble. Maybe next year, or maybe do it now because I know you did, and are here for us to love because you did.

You are the bravest woman I know, Wren. Not only for what you have endured and conquered, but for your willingness to let us share the journey.
